The Light from the Sun is Good

THE habit of hiding from the sun by the use of an umbrella or hat is advisable because too much sunshine darkens the skins to contributes to skin cancer. However, doctors advised humans must have moderate amounts of lights from the sun because of great benefits it brings.

There are 3 main types of energy from the sun that reach the earth, First- is the visible light. It consists of the colors of the rainbow. It is a blend of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and the various shades in between. The rainbow colors of visible light make our earth and the things God created beautiful to look at.

The sun rays vaporize the water which will eventually fall as rain and snow, filling our rivers, reservoirs and making possible the generation of hydroelectric energy. Solar energy is also stored in wood, coal, oil and natural gas providing us with heat and energy when we need it.

Second, the invisible ultraviolet rays are antiseptic and are capable of killing bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeasts, mold and mites in air and water. Open window panes wide and curtains pulled back for a period of time each day to kill bacteria on window sills and floors. Ultraviolet lights also kills germs on our skin. Sunbathing is a useful treatment for skin diseases such as diaper rush, athlete's foot, psoriasis, acne, boils or impetigo.

Ultraviolet light converts cholesterol in the skin to vitamin D. This vitamin is essential in the proper handling of calcium in the body and thus in the prevention of rickets and adult osteomalacia Getting vitamin D from the sunlight is preferable than when added in the food we eat because our body makes only what we need. Getting out in the sun- therefore- is a good way to lower cholesterol level in our bodies. Exposing our skins to direct sunlight for 1 hour per day, we will obtain our minimum daily requirement for vitamin D.

Third, The invisible infrared rays. These rays exists in the human body itaelf since birth. The body produces them continously throughout our entire life span. They help in the growth and development process, this is why they are called "Light of Life". However the amount of rays produced by the humans changes every now and then depending upon our health condition and living patterns. If we maintain a naturally healthy life-style without falling victim to the modern medicines and antibiotics, the production of this rays is on the higher side which helps to overcome various ailments we may encounter from time to time. On the other hand, if we are leading an unhealthy style, the production of these rays decline. Then the body is open to attacks by disease, we age more rapidly, feel weak, lethargic and there is a general decline in our state of health. At the time of death, the radiation of Far Infrared Rays in the human body is almost zero.
